At its heart, Banh Mi Kitchen focuses one doing one thing only and doing it exceptionally, to produce the perfect Banh Mi. The story starts with Ryan, who was working and living in Saigon for three years before moving back to Hong Kong in 2016. After becoming accustomed to eating freshly made, healthy banh mi for breakfast every morning coupled with a freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee, he was frustrated with the lack of a genuine banh mi operation in Hong Kong, thus with some other foolhardy souls, created Banh Mi Kitchen.
Like any eatery in Hong Kong that focuses on only one thing, freshness and quality of ingredients is critical to delivering the ultimate customer experience. For banh mi, the most critical element is the bread itself, which needs to be freshly baked, have a thin crispy crust on the outside but also be airy and light on the inside.
Partnering with RISE Boulangerie, the team spent countless hours developing and designing the perfect banh mi, and we are confident it is the most delicious you’ve tasted! Taking fresh dough deliveries every day, each banh mi is proofed before getting baked in-house, allowing us to guarantee our customers fresh out of the oven bread.
All other ingredients and fillings are made fresh every day in-house. Combined with our freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee using select beans from the central highlands of Vietnam, we will deliver our customers the ultimate banh mi experience.
